How To Care For Your Extensions
  • Do not wash or wet your hair for the first 48 hours after installation to allow the tapes to bond securely
  • Wash your hair 2-3 times per week with sulfate-free, silicone-free shampoo and conditioner to keep the adhesive strong and hair healthy
  • Keep conditioner and oils away from the tape bonds—apply only from the middle to the ends of the hair.
  • Brush your hair gently 2-3 times daily with a loop or extension brush, starting from the ends and working up to prevent tangling and to minimize tension on the tapes.
  • Use a heat protectant before styling and avoid direct heat on the tape bonds; keep hot tools below 180°C (350°F).
  • Before sleeping, loosely braid your hair or tie it in a ponytail and use a silk pillowcase to reduce tangling and friction
  • Schedule maintenance appointments every 6-8 weeks for refitting, adjusting the tapes, and replacing any shedded extensions
