How To Care For Your Extensions
- Wash your clip-in extensions only after 10-15 wears or when you notice product buildup.
- Use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner designed for extensions to avoid drying the hair.
- Wash by soaking the extensions in cool or lukewarm water with shampoo, gently swishing them rather than scrubbing or rubbing.
- Apply conditioner mainly from mid-length to ends, avoiding the clip area to maintain clip adhesion.
- Air dry your extensions by laying them flat on a towel or hanging them. Avoid blow drying or using high heat styling tools.
- If heat styling is needed, always use a heat protectant spray and keep tools below 350°F (175°C).
- Avoid sleeping and showering with the clip-ins attached to prevent tangling and damage.
- Before and after each use, gently detangle the extensions with a wide-tooth comb or an extension-friendly brush.
- Start brushing from the ends, working gradually upwards, and hold near the clips to reduce tension.
- Never brush the extensions when wet, as this can cause breakage.
